Nobody Wants To Be The Fool On The Hill

Ever met anyone who likes to be called a fool?

Paul McCartney wrote a song about a fool on a hill; nobody seemed to like him.

Many people become offended when suggesting that atheists and opinionated individuals are called fools in the Bible.

People read the Bible and think that to call someone a fool in any context is not a wise thing to do.
    • But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to the hell of fire.  (Matthew 5.22)
Context is always important in understanding what is meant.
Calling a person a fool in anger is equivalent to calling oneself the fool who does not acknowledge one's own eternal reason for existence.

Jesus did not mince words when addressing hypocrites, who in their wisdom majored on material wealth rather than the real issues humans exist.
In no uncertain terms, they were called fools for not recognizing the reason gold might be considered sacred.
    • You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?  (Matthew 23:17)
Most people want to be wise.

In fact, even when doing foolish things, I have thought I was being very wise, like saving up for my funeral when I am going to be meeting Lord Jesus in the clouds.

When I was young, before I was a Christian, I began planning for my riches in retirement, while ignoring the close shaves that I had with death.

After becoming a Christian, I read the words of Jesus, speaking about the not-so-wise.
    • And he told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man brought forth plentifully; and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ And he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns, and build larger ones; and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you; and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’  So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:19-21)
Why are people really so foolish when they think they are wise?

Playing the fool can be so much fun; I find I can be myself.
Even though I have been called a fool many times, I don't really like being called a fool.
You could say, much depends upon who is calling who a fool.
But, seriously, who wants to be a fool?

Having done evil things, I know what it really means to be a fool.
    • A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul; but to turn away from evil is an abomination to fools. (Proverbs 13:19)
Understanding that becoming wise has to do with turning away from evil is enlightening, to say the least.

How often have I heard that pacing back and forth across a floor is the same as digging a grave?
I suppose doing the same thing year after year is the same as pacing back and forth.
Remember, if approached by a fool, looking to get ahead, if he has a large knife, watch out, he might want yours.

The Bible has much to say about being a fool. But I prefer what it says about being wise. Don't you?
    • The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. (Proverbs 4:7)
    • Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding.  (Proverbs 3.13)
    • My mouth shall speak wisdom; the meditation of my heart shall be understanding. (Psalm 49:3)
    • The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. (Psalm 37.30)
    • I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.  (Proverbs 4:11)
Some weeks ago I was prompted to send out an email about what had happened on the Diamond Princess, when docked at Yokohama, Japan.
I risked being called a fool. In fact, I was called a fool by some people. They basically told me, I should believe what I see on TV.

The evidence concerning the Diamond Princess was very clear:
    • 6711 were imprisoned on the cruise ship.
    • 3006 people did not contract COVID-19.
    • 1850 required medications for their chronic morbities to keep them alive.
    • 705 were said to have contracted COVID-19
    • 6 people died aged: 75, 79, 80, 80, 84, 87.
    • No virologist had performed the appropriate Koch's Postulates tests so COVID-19 could be verified.
    • No pathologists did autopsies to determine the death of the six people.
    • The deceased could have died from another illness.
    • The deceased could have died from the stress from being cooped up in the ship.
Dr. Dan Eriksson and Dr. Artin Massihi each have 20 yrs immunological/microbiological experience.
They risked being called fools when they blew the whistle on the false morbidity and mortality rates of COVID-19.
Instead of being ridiculed, at their press conference they were grilled aggressively by hostile journalists pushing the official narrative.

How foolish do all the people look, who dismissed the evidence on the Diamond Princess, but believed the models that millions of people were going to die?

There are many who look like fools on the hill called academia.
There are many who look like fools on Capitol Hill, and within Parliament/Government offices  around the globe.
Many are the fools who accepted the lock-downs lying down.
Those pushing the lock-down, all got paid, so maybe they weren't really fools.

Come election time, everybody else will be at fault. Nobody will want to be the Fool on the Hill. Maybe, the cause of the hoax will be exposed or blamed on someone. WHO?

Designated the clown of Australian politics, Clive Palmer obtained 32.9 million dosages of hydroxychloroquine, as part of a written agreement with the federal government, but is being held up to ridicule by the mainstream press, with lazy medical experts following the official WHO line that the drug has not been proven.

A Texas nursing home had 55 elderly patients and 33 staff test positive for coronavirus take hydroxychloroqine and survive. Unfortunately, one elderly person did die. The cause of death is not mentioned.
    • Whoever is wise, let him give heed to these things; let men consider the steadfast love of the Lord. (Psalm 107:43)
