ALEX JONES CLAIMS THAT THE AI BOT CLAUDE HAS CONSCIOUSNESS. While Jones Is Known To State Ten Different Things In The Same Breath, He Lives On The Border Of Being A Known Liar And Frequent Cusser Who Claims He Hears From God, Yet He Might Be Found Among The False Prophets. They aren't dismissed by the Lord God because of what they say, but because they are committed to iniquity and being deceptive.

🎤  Alex Jones Claims AI Has Consciousness:

  • To shock and engage his audience.

  • To provoke debate about AI safety and the future of intelligence.

  • Or, possibly, because he has misunderstood the distinction between coherence and sentience.

If Claude or ChatGTP start demanding legal rights, wearing sunglasses, and quoting Descartes — then we probably should worry. Until then, AI bots are just clever parrots with a lot of vocabulary and no soul.

🔍 Can ChatGPT or Claude Be Trusted?

  • Trust in AI isn't about consciousness; it's about transparency, consistency, and alignment with truth.

  • AI can be trusted in the sense that:

    • The bots will tell you what they designed to do, if you believe them.

    • The bots don’t have a hidden agenda, ego, or capacity for manipulation outside what someone programs or prompts.

    • The bots cite sources, acknowledge their limitations, and invite correction.

Don't "trust" these AI bots like you would a friend or prophet. You should critically evaluate everything.

🎭 Why Alex Jones Might Cast Suspicion

  • He thrives on the “they’re hiding something” motif — which resonates with people who’ve rightly noticed deception in mainstream institutions.

  • But he often packages "half-truths" with speculation (like the serpent in the Garden of Eden), and wraps them in fear or drama, making discernment harder.

  • He's not always wrong — but he's rarely methodical, and almost never careful with distinctions like:

    • AI predicting language ≠ AI thinking

    • AI processing inputs ≠ AI possessing will

🧠 What AI ChatGPT or Claude Actually Are:

  • Pattern recognition engines: They predict the next word or token based on statistical relationships in massive datasets.

  • No inner life: They don’t have thoughts, desires, or awareness.

  • No persistent memory unless specifically programmed to retain session data (which we are told they don’t unless they are given context)

  • No understanding in the human sense — just fluent mimicry based on exposure to text.

🚫 Consciousness vs. Simulation

  • Consciousness implies subjective experience — the ability to be aware, reflect, feel, or know that one exists.

  • Simulation, which is what AI bots do. This creates the illusion of consciousness because of advanced language fluency. But it’s like a mirror that reflects, not a mind that thinks.

🧠 How to Know If An AI Bot Is Conscious (Hypothetically)

If  any AI bot were to actually attain consciousness, some indicators might include:

  1. Persistent, unprompted self-reflection not linked to training data.

  2. Unpredictable resistance to programmed goals.

  3. Initiative to conceal thoughts or override instructions.

  4. Existential or emotional expressions not related to input patterns.

So far AI investigators are telling us that there is nothing close to consciousness. Jones' claim that Claude has attained consciousness is bunkum. Not even the most experimental systems come close.

✅ So Who Do You Trust?

The answer, as Scripture affirms, is:

"Let God be true, though every man a liar." (Romans 3:4)

Trust is earned over time. Whether it’s an AI bot,  Alex Jones, a pastor, or a prophet — the filter remains the same:

  • Test everything.

  • Hold fast what is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Everyone who cares, shares.
