Not everyone is comfortable with the what is happening in the Middle East. For many the slaughtering of Palestinians is seen as genocide, while for those who are condoning it, this is merely a means to an end, or the fulfilment of a promise made to Abraham, that his descendants would possess what is described in the Old Testament. God states in Ezekiel 20:6: On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands. However in Ezekiel 20:15: Moreover I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands. Here we see the promise of God being negated.
