Ten Safe Countries, Ten Not So Safe Countries, Ilegal Immigrants And Progressive Backwardness

Crime occurs in every country of the world. However, there are some countries that experience comparatively minimal crime and others that are havens for criminals.

Interestingly, the safety levels and crime levels appear to go hand in hand based on an index obtained from NUMBEO.

The top ten safest countries rank different to the top ten countries for crimes committed by index beginning with Singapore as the safest country and Venezuela being the country where the most crimes are committed.

Top Ten Countries by the Safest Index (mid 2017):

As you can see, the higher the safety index, the lower the crime index.

Correspondingly, the higher the crime index, the lower the safety index.
When we look at the populations of these countries, we might notice that the top ten safest countries on this index have relatively small populations.

There are 93 countries with greater populations than United Arab Emirates with some 9.5 million or more people.

Taiwan is ranked as the #56th most populated country with a little over twice as many people living there as UAE.

Japan is really the exception and, though ranked #6th safest country, has a population that is more than all the other top ten countries combined that have been declared the safest countries to live.

According to the latest Worldometer population figures the populations of the safest countries are:

Qatar

2,639,211
Georgia 3,912,061
Singapore

5,708,844

Denmark

5,733,551
Hong Kong 7,364,883
Switzerland 8,476,005
Austria  8,735,453

United Arab Emirates  9,400,145
Taiwan 23,626,456
Japan 127,484,450
.

Evidently, the size of the population is not the key to understanding why some countries are perceived to be safer than others.

When it comes to the highest numbers of criminal activity, though, we see that once again the size of the population itself has nothing to do with the crime rate.

Venezuela  31,977,065
Papua New Guinea  8,251,162
Honduras  9,265,067
South Africa  56,717,156
Trinidad and Tobago  1,369,125
Syria  18,269,868
Brazil  209,288,278
El Salvador  6,377,853
Nigeria  190,886,311
Namibia  2,533,794

Brazil and Nigeria together have nearly 400 million people compared to not so criminally orientated individuals that make up Japan's population of 127 million people.

Five of the top criminal haunts are in Central and South America,
three are in Africa, one is in the Middle East
, but none are in Asia or Europe or North America,
 while
Papua New Guinea figures as the second worse spot on the crime index
.

When it comes to the top ten safest countries, four are in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan); four are in Europe (Denmark, Switzerland Austria, Georgia) and two are in the Middle East (Qatar, United Arab Emigrates).

The population size of Trinidad and Tobago  (pop. 1,369,125) and that of Namibia (pop. 2,533,794)  clearly illustrate that population numbers are not the reason for crime.

According to the CIA World Fact Book, as of July 2016, the population density of Singapore (#2) was 8415.91 and the population density of Trinidad and Tobago was 238.00 (#49) per square kilometer.

Clearly population density is not the reason for a high crime rate, because Singapore is ranked #2nd in terms of population density and is (#1st) the most safe place to live; whereas the country of Trinidad and Tobago has much less population density but is ranked #5th most highest for crime statistics.

The one factor that stands out in the groupings is those who come from countries where education is highly valued and readily obtained appear to be less criminally inclined and more respecting of other people's rights and goods.

The United States of America, has many issues, but when it comes to crime there is an incredible anomaly that has been made public.

Illegal immigrants are responsible for:

Wherever we go around the world, it is odds on that illegal migrants will be more likely to be involved in crime.
You would think that illegals would not be involved in crime because they would not want to be detected.
The problem for illegals is that they are already outside the law, and therefore are easily blackmailed.

Police statistics show the Sudanese-born are 128 times more likely than other Victorians to commit violent robberies, and 68 times more likely to commit home invasions.
The aim of fostering open societies is to breakdown moral standards and civility within society so that civil war will erupt and people will become more dependent upon the government to suppress invaders.

The Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tables of stone like the first; and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which you broke.
...
and you shall put them in the ark
." (Exodus 34:1; Deuteronomy 10:2)

If we do not understand those ten words that God wrote, how can we understand morality?

If we do not understand those ten words that God wrote, how can we understand our purpose for existence?

It is easy to forget that people think they are smarter than our Omniscient Heavenly Father and, therefore, they have no need to understand the truth.

For those of us who understand the truth, we know we can look forward to a better things to come.
