Chestahedron: the mystical shape of the heart
The Goddess Nut at the Temple of Hathor is depicted swallowing the moon (?) or sperm (?) and delivering the Sun/life giver (?) with its rays (bells) bringing forth a child.
The bells are representative of the physical heart, which is said to contain the permanent energy of each individual. The heart takes the shape of a chestahedron, a seven-sided three-dimensional form with equal areas, discovered by Frank Chester and named after him.
Interestingly, Frank Chester had two brothers who died from heart failure at birth, and he himself nearly died from a heart problem. His mother was a nurse, and his father worked on the first heart-lung machine in the world. Frank discovered the first seven-faced form after searching for it and experimenting with different-sized polygons, spheres, and cubes. Christened the chestahedron, this shape has become the sixth basic form. The heart sits in the chest at an angle, as if it were a chestahedron placed inside a cube. The shape of the heart and its positioning in the chest conform to what would be expected of a seven-sided object that operates not as a pump but as a vortex.
This means that the heart does not pump blood around the body; rather, the blood rushes into the heart to fill the space left empty after the previous amount is squeezed out of the second ventricle.
This contrasts with the traditional view of how the heart pumps blood through the circulatory system.
He discovered the shape artistically rather than mathematically. The form has seven points seven faces and twelve edges, two polygons triangle and quadrilateral. Platonic forms have same surface areas with faces the same shape. https://youtu.be/QktL6oq0LiM
